Flexible Electrical Cable
Fire resistant and fire retardant cable sheaths are design to
resist combustion and limit the propagation of flames. Low smokes
cables have a sheath designed to limit the amount of smoke and
toxic halogen gases given off during fire situations.
Flexible cable is designed to endure bending force and movement
which makes it ideal for installing in potentially high strain
environments particularly where sharp angles or corners occur.
Usually insulated in a PVC or rubber sheath, flex cable possesses
resilient, malleable properties to allow for maximum flexibility
whilst maintaining strength and durability.
